The Moon has always fascinated me-as it has many of the inhabitants of planet earth since the beginning of time. Poetry, music and songs have been inspired by the moon's glowing beauty. My interest regarding the moon is mainly from an aesthetic point of view but-

A lot of songs have been written about the moon...one of my favorites is "Moondance" by Van Morrison. There seem to be more than one 'moonsong' for each generation. Blue Moon sung by Kate Smith was an early popular title. KD Lang and Tony Bennett recorded Moonglow as a duet and who could forget Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata?
